Prop money for music videos has to look good fast. Shoots are short, framing is tight and notes are often thrown, fanned or held to camera.
What tends to work: 1. **Double-sided notes** that survive being flipped and fanned. 2. **Matte paper** that avoids glare under LED and strobe lighting. 3. **Loose notes plus one stack**, so there is enough to throw without running out.
Keep the markings visible and never hand notes to the public as real money. For stills and clips, our photography range is the place to start.
Because music video shoots are fast and often outdoors, take care with handling: notes thrown into the air or fanned in front of a fan will spread quickly, so brief the crew to collect them between takes. Keep a spare set for the hero shot, and avoid handing notes to members of the public as props in a public location, where someone could mistake them for real money.
